Responsibilities

Review and assess customer project specifications
Define and specify the electrical scope for complete pump units (motors, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation)
Prepare technical project documentation such as P&IDs, cause‑and‑effect diagrams, and logic diagrams
Witness and document FAT/SAT at electrical equipment suppliers
Provide technical support on electrical topics across the organization and assist service teams with onsite troubleshooting
Lead the design of control systems together with external engineering partners
Execute the assigned electrical engineering scope on time, on budget, and in line with project requirements.
Coordinate internal project stakeholders (engineering, quality, procurement, logistics)
Plan and conduct project meetings and manage communication flow
Coordinate subsuppliers and packagers, ensuring timely and high‑quality deliveries

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; recognized project management certification is a plus
First professional project experience or similar roles, ideally in manufacturing, oil & gas, powerplant construction or a comparable industry
Experience with installation of electrical equipment in ex-zones
Project management skills and experience in leading international projects in the oil and gas sector
Experience in programming and commissioning of Siemens S7-300 and S7-1500 PLCs is desirable
Familiarity with rotating machinery, pump and compressor systems is advantageous
Fluency in English is required; German and Arabic language skills are a plus
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent analytical and project management skills and the ability to influence and lead teamsacross different regions
Willingness to travel international
