Responsibilities
Overseeing and managing a dedicated segment of Supercharge Group’s project portfolio
Acting as the line manager for selected Project Managers, driving their personal development plans, supporting team KPIs, and ensuring continuous professional growth
Serving as a mentor, supporter, and escalation point for Project Managers, actively guiding and enabling them to achieve successful project outcomes
Tracking portfolio-level project performance metrics and reporting directly to the Head of Operations
Collaborating closely with the Delivery Management Team to address staffing needs and resource planning
Supporting and collaborating with the Account/Sales team in decision-making, opportunity assessment, and engagement management
Working with the PMO and fellow Project Portfolio Managers to improve processes, share knowledge, and promote best practices across the organization
Stepping in to lead delivery on the most challenging engagements where complexity, novelty, or strategic importance calls for senior leadership- bringing experienced judgment from discovery through design, development, and transition
Understanding technology-related issues to ensure optimal solution delivery for clients
Managing both in-house and remote project teams effectively

Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in the software development industry
Proven track record of delivering multiple software projects, including both short-term engagements and long-term initiatives of 9-12 months or more
Strong experience with agile and other project management methodologies-we are practitioners, not theorists
Excellent English communication skills- written and spoken- as we operate within an international environment
Strong client and account management and communication capabilities-we value long-term, positive client relationships
High sense of ownership: our PMO is responsible for delivery excellence, so taking full responsibility for tasks and outcomes is essential
People-first mindset: caring for team morale, providing clarity, and protecting teams from uncertainty is core to how we work
Understanding of business requirements and their technical implications, ensuring alignment between strategy, delivery, and technology
Previous experience mentoring and line managing Project Managers or holding similar people-management responsibilities

At Supercharge Program Managers operate at a strategic level, ensuring the health and success of a defined segment of our project portfolio. We focus on portfolio performance, resource alignment, delivery quality, and long-term client satisfaction-looking beyond individual projects to the broader impact. We act as mentors and line managers to Project Managers, supporting their growth and helping them navigate delivery challenges. We track project performance across the portfolio, manage risks and dependencies, and when needed, step in as Senior Project Managers to lead complex engagements end-to-end. We work closely with the Delivery Management Team on staffing and capacity, support sales and account teams in shaping new opportunities, and collaborate with the PMO to improve processes and best practices. In a people-first, international environment, we build client trust, empower our teams, and ensure our portfolio drives Supercharge’s success.
