Production Planner (m/f/d)

Rheinmetall Hungary Munitions Zrt., a member of the Rheinmetall Group, is looking for an experienced production planner to join its new factory in Várpalota.

• Preparation of long and short-term production plans and daily/weekly schedules based on sales forecasts and order backlog
• Issuing and monitoring of production orders (production instructions)
• Continuous comparison of planned and actual production output as well as immediate correction of the schedule if necessary
• Timely planning of the calculation of raw material requirements (MRP)
• Monitoring and optimization of inventory levels
• Provide information on the expected delivery date and content of orders
• Actively develop and increase the efficiency of planning processes and tools (e.g. ERP systems)
• Preparation of KPI reports for management, such as production efficiency, on-time delivery rate and inventory turnover

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Higher education degree (engineering, logistics or economics is preferred)
• Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing planning, production management or logistics
• ERP/MRP knowledge (SAP)
• Excellent Ms Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; be able to quickly and accurately analyze data and solve complex design problems
• Stress tolerance and flexibility; be able to handle sudden changes and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment

• Precision and reliability in the execution of tasks
