Task:

To strengthen our financial operations at Laurastar’s production site in Kapuvár, we are looking for a hands-on, analytical Production Controller who will play a key role in improving cost transparency, supporting monthly closing activities, and providing valuable insights to both local management and the Group Controlling team in Switzerland.

Expectation:

Analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead) and explain variances
Support monthly closing activities: production-related postings, cost and inventory reconciliations
Prepare production KPIs, financial reports, and analysis for local and group management
Track investments (CAPEX) and prepare related reporting
Support inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and physical inventory processes
Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting cycles
Improve, standardize, and simplify controlling processes and reporting tools
Cooperate closely with production, logistics, and Group Controlling teams

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
2–3+ years of experience in controlling or financial analysis (manufacturing environment is an advantage)
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills
Fluency in English and Hungarian
Experience with ERP and BI/reporting tools is an advantage (Oracle / Qlik is a plus)
Independent, proactive working style with the ability to handle deadlines
