Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the output of the team - the success of the solution/processes and ensuring that the value (customer- and business-value) and quality are maximized.
- The Product Owner represents the customer/user view, so the functional WHAT in the agile team and towards relevant stakeholders.
- Prioritize team backlog for the PI Planning and the Program Increment.
- Creates the PI in alignment with the business objectives.
- Decides from the business view if a demand can be recorded in the Program/Team Backlog.
- Researches, observes, and analyzes the market and understands the competitive activities.
- Is responsible for and monitors the development of the solution/process from a functional perspective.
- Responsible for his team's work's economic success, value maximization, and quality assurance.
- Ensures that customer-oriented support concepts are developed, and legal/compliance requirements are met.
- Acts as a link to cluster leads/business owners and stakeholders, communicates the added value and status of the product/process, proactively obtains feedback, and coordinates a continuous exchange.
- Defines the acceptance criteria for a feature and grants the official acceptance.
- The Product Owner is responsible for the Operations of his/her team.
- Responsible for the satisfaction of customers, users, and stakeholders.
- Supports the creation of an agile mindset in the team by consistently exemplifying and implementing agile values, principles, methods, and tools.
- Creates the user stories in collaboration with the agile team and is the only person allowed to make changes to the product backlog on his own.
- Responsible for training the end-users and ensuring that the developed features start to create value for the company.
- Ensures that the needed capacity and skills for business support are in place.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Comprehensive knowledge of product development processes and methodologies.
- Experience in managing customer relationships and professionally handling business needs.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
- Good leadership skills and ability to inspire the team.
- Confident command of English.
