Responsibilities
- Own the market success and financial performance of the Value / Basic hydraulic breaker product portfolio
- Define competitive positioning and portfolio strategy to win in price‑driven market segments
- Drive pricing strategies in close collaboration with the commercial organization to balance competitiveness, volume, and profitability
- Translate market dynamics and customer requirements into cost‑aligned product and portfolio decisions
- Manage product lifecycle activities with a strong focus on simplification, standardization, and phase‑out decisions
- Lead cost‑ and volume‑driven investment decisions by preparing and evaluating business cases for portfolio expansion, simplification, standardization, and variant reduction
- Partner closely with sales teams to support competitive tenders, distributor networks and high‑volume sales situations
- Develop sales‑support materials and support product‑related sales training focused on competitive positioning and value-for-money arguments
- Act as the central commercial interface to Engineering and Operations to ensure cost‑competitive and scalable solutions
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a comparable qualification through experience
- Several years of experience in product management, sales, product marketing, or a similar commercial role in an industrial or B2B environment
- Experience with mobile industrial equipment, attachments, or tools used in construction or mining environments is considered a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of price‑driven markets, competitive positioning, and portfolio management
- Proven ability to translate customer and market needs into pragmatic, cost‑aligned product strategies
- Experience working with sales teams in tender‑driven and highly competitive sales environments
- Solid commercial and financial skills, including pricing decisions and cost‑ and volume‑driven business‑case evaluation
- Entrepreneurial and pragmatic approach, comfortable balancing cost, volume, and profitability
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
