Procurement Manager
Role purpose:
As a Procurement Manager you will be a member of the Management Team and will be responsible for the local strategy and the leadership of procurement operation.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the procurement team of 10-12 including team leader functions
- Defining and executing the local procurement strategy
- Preparation of strategic contracts, provision of legal compliance
- Procurement process improvement
- Preparation of the task-related records, reports and creating analysis to the top management
- Taking part in the regional projects
- Keeping contact and negotiate with key suppliers, taking part in procurement operation in case of need
- Supplier acquisition and negotiation, tendering
Requirements:
- Degree in Technical/Commercial/Economic field
- Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience as a Procurement Manager with people management responsibility
- Experience in the field of automotive manufacturing
- Fluent in English and Hungarian language knowledge
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strategic view, process related approach
- Good ability to lead and coach direct reports
Due to the scope of the role, some business trips can be expected.
