PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Tasks
- Leading, supporting, and developing the procurement team (currently 2 direct reports)
- Overseeing and executing the company's direct and indirect procurement activities, including operational administration
- Identifying new suppliers and evaluating the performance of existing partners while renegotiating contract terms
- Developing and implementing cost-reduction strategies
- Optimizing procurement processes and ensuring efficient resource management
- Centralizing procurement-related activities from different areas of the company into a single organizational unit
- Actively participating in the development of the procurement framework
- Negotiating procurement contracts and agreements to secure the most favorable terms
- Collaborating with the finance and production departments, as well as managing procurement-related administration within the ERP system
- Handling complaints and claims
- Communicating with customs agencies (via email and phone)
Expectations
- Relevant University degree (Logistics/Procurement)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Hungarian
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement (including at least 2 years in a leadership role)
- Experience working with an ERP system (knowledge of IFS is an advantage)
- Are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel at an advanced level
