Responsibilities

Set up and manage the local procurement function in alignment with group standards
Oversee the full purchasing cycle for local suppliers
Issue purchase orders and ensure continuous availability of raw materials (EVA, resins, additives, etc.)
Maintain daily coordination with international colleagues
Liaise between the Romanian site and other European locations
Evaluate, qualify, and manage local suppliers
Request quotations, conduct negotiations, and manage supplier performance
Support contract preparations; track terms, deadlines, and delivery accuracy
Coordinate DDT, CMR, and transit documentation
Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments
Track supplier KPIs and keep procurement dashboards up to date

Requirements

Experience in procurement or logistics, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Fluent English and Romanian (MUST HAVE)
Willing to work on site ( Valea lui Mihai / Érmihályfalva/ )
Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills
Precise, proactive, and independent working style
Ability and motivation to later build a procurement team

Nice-to-have

Hungarian or Italian language skills are huge advantage
