Procurement Administrator - Dynamic Components

Main tasks, responsibilities:

The thyssenkrupp Dynamic Components business unit is one of the leading automotive suppliers and development partners for highly complex drive technologies. Around 3,500 employees produce 27 million drive components per year at a total of ten locations in Germany, Liechtenstein, Hungary, China, the USA, Brazil and Mexico. The product range mainly comprises assembled camshafts, valve train systems and rotor shafts for state-of-the-art combustion, hybrid and electric engines. Further products for battery electric vehicles are already at an advanced stage of development. With our manufacturing and automation expertise, we make a significant contribution to reducing emissions for sustainable mobility.

Your responsibilities

  • Administrative support of the purchasing department (in particular the Commodity Procurement) of Dynamic Components
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating supplier master data in the systems SAP and CIMplify (PLM)
  • Support the Commodity Procurement in achieving price transparency regarding raw material usage and volume development
  • Significantly involved in the topics of CO2 neutrality and Supply Chain Act (SCA) and you contribute to a sustainable supply chain:
    • Maintain the tk SCA-Tool with data to analyze supply chain risks in regards to human rights, environmental- and safety topics, derive an appropriate reporting and track preventive and corrective measures to achieve an SCA-compliant supply chain
    • Develop digital solutions to determine the CO2 emissions of goods purchased by Dynamic Components
  • Have an overview of the data generated from various sources in the purchasing department and merge this data into a meaningful reporting
  • Cooperation in internal process optimizations, realization of SAP S/4 HANA, implementation of Supplier Relationship Management Tool (SRM) and ad-hoc request, especially from sales and management, round off the position

Requirements:

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree from a college or university
  • Office365 skills (Excel, Word, Teams, Sharepoint) and have knowledge in SAP (ideally R/3 or S/4 HANA)
  • Knowledge of a PLM system (ideally CIMplify), Microsoft Access and/or PowerBI are an advantage
  • Fluent in English and basic understanding of German is an advantage
  • Ability to work in an international team, organizational skills and personal initiative are just as important as affinity for processes and software
