Position overview
- The Lead Process Excellence is responsible for supporting DePuy Synthes separation and standardization of our core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver streams.
- The Lead Process Excellence has knowledge of Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement & Master Data processes, as well demonstrated experience leading a complementary team of experts to meet timeline, scope, and objectives.
- The Lead Process Excellence collaborates with business teams, technology teams, domain experts and other functions to gain a deep understanding of as-is business needs/capabilities, benchmarking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment through the various programs
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with master data team to ensure data configuration meet business capability needs.
- Development and Deployment of Process Deviation & Data Quality Scorecards and improvement action plans for site owners.
- List exceptional physical and financial/transactional archetypes and develop action plan/decision log for remediation.
- Partner with the business adoption team to ensure organizational change, business readiness, site readiness, and training are delivered to meet business needs.
- Partner with Internal (Osprey teams) and external benchmark partners (e.g. Deloitte/SAP) to ensure industry standard methodology and current/future capabilities from SAP are adopted into DePuy Synthes template design.
- Identify and communicate project risks and issues, proposing solutions as vital.
- Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day to-day interactions with team.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to the next management level
- Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
- For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications & Experience
- University Bachelor’s degree of equivalent
- 6-8 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing related function
- FPX, APICS CPIM knowledge desirable
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Project System, Power Point etc.)
- SAP- and preferable PLM system implementation knowledge
- Process Re-engineering knowledge
- Demonstrated management skills like communication, organization, people management, change management, networking
