Ford Central and Eastern European Sales LLC is looking for a

Pro Pricing - Specialist

to join our Marketing & Sales Team in Budapest, Váci Greens Office

What will be your roles and responsibilities?

Develop all model-specific pricing proposals at all stages of the pricing process for the Ford Pro Business segment.

 

This includes:

  • Development of ongoing pricing changes in relation to product changes, and general pricing / realignment actions reacting to the short/ medium term competitive environment within the market to maximise overall profitability.
  • Coordination of market equation input for forward model product programs, from program approval (around 2 years before Job#1) through to final pricing
  • Continuous monthly assessment of competitive price positions.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • The production of Unified Pricing Proposals (UPP) through Pro-Prima to provide respective NSCs with customer / dealer list prices, and European Product Marketing / Product Development with current and forward model program financials.
  • Pricing Process to include analysis of Ford and Competitive:
  • Price Position Comparisons – visual and equipment adjusted
  • ICE / Electric Price Walks - price for PS, choice of engines
  • Body-style Price walks
  • Option Prices - competitively priced to assist trade up
  • Entry Price Point - accessible but profitable.
  • Rationalization of the product features and values included in product-adjusted price positions.
  • Working closely with European Sales and Marketing to ensure that Product Strategies (Current + Forward) are clearly articulated to the markets.
  • Regular (monthly) review of visual / equipment-adjusted price positions vs key competitors. Identify & implement pricing opportunities based on competitive opportunities or other economic metrics.
  • Ensure that revenue commitments and related tasks (General Price Increase, Yield Management, etc.) are delivered for their respective markets.
  • Identify issues & opportunities for price harmonisation.
  • Delivery of pricing proposals on time and on quality.

Looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong business acumen, with a drive for results.
  • Must be able to demonstrate consistent success in positions requiring strong analytical ability.
  • "Team Oriented", with the courage to "do the right thing" for the business.
  • Durability, with commitment to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines for customers situated remotely.
  • Exposure to NSC Brand Marketing / NSC field experience and/or the FOE pricing process.
  • Product knowledge/experience.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in similar area
