The Role
As Portfolio Coordinator, you will manage the real-time 24/7 operation of ALPIQ’s Hungarian Origination and Asset portfolio and ensure smooth interaction with TSO, counterparties, plant operators, and our Trading and Origination team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Real-time operation of the full Hungarian portfolio (CCGT, BESS, gas engines, RES, B2B Clients)
  • Continuous coordination with different O&M teams on availability and dispatch
  • Immediate response to operational incidents or deviations
  • Management of portfolio related intraday trading activities
  • Daily interaction with power and gas TSO/DSO for nominations and balancing activities
  • Collection and processing of data for the Hungarian Portfolio
  • Daily production reports and incident logs
  • Ad-hoc technical and operational reporting
  • Working in 12 hours shifts

What We’re Looking For
Required
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy) – freshly graduated person is also welcome
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Fluent Hungarian + intermediate English
Personal Qualities
  • Reliable and disciplined (shift starts at 07:00 mean 07:00)
  • Detail-oriented, precise, analytical
  • Calm under pressure (even during late-night outages)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Advantage
  • 1–3 years in power plant operations, energy markets, or technical operations
  • Experience in shift-based roles and/or international environment
