Responsibilities

Incident and Problem Management including system incident investigation, Root Cause Analysis, and execution of long-term remedial fixes
Observability and Metrics definition and enforcement of SLAs, SLOs, and success metrics, and building and maintaining dashboards
Performance and Capacity identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks, infrastructure and code optimization, and capacity planning
Availability and Change Management ensuring platform components remain highly reachable and functional, and overseeing deployments to prevent disruptions

Requirements

Experience building dashboards and tracking SLAs/SLOs using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Coralogix, Splunk, or Loki
Proficiency in scripting and coding for automation and reliability tools with strong skills in .NET, Python, Powershell or Bash
Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible
Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration
Familiarity with deployment pipelines like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Team City, Octopus
Strong analytical skills for Root Cause Analysis and calm approach to incident response
Ability to lead blameless post-mortems
Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure, CDNs, and systems running in multiple data centres and environments
Experience with Cloud Application Load Balancer, preferably AWS ALB
Experience with Cloud DNS support such as AWS Route 53, GCP Cloud DNS, or Azure DNS

Nice-to-have

Experience with Microsoft SQL databases, PostgreSQL, and Couchbase
