Responsibilities

Technical leadership for cloud platforms, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and platform reliability
Management of technical improvements and reliable delivery of platform capabilities
Ownership of platform operations ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement
Promotion of automation and DevOps practices including Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and CI/CD
Driving observability, incident management, security practices, and platform governance
Collaboration with engineering, security, architecture, and business teams to align platform solutions with organisational goals

Requirements

Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, automation, and DevOps practices
Experience with AWS edge services such as CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda@Edge, WAF, and CDN technologies
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
Experience building and running reliable, secure, and scalable platforms
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams

Nice-to-have

Experience with monitoring, observability, and improving platform reliability
Experience with Kubernetes
Familiarity with Agile and ITIL practices
