PLANT QUALITY MANAGER (LV)

Location: Budapest

Package: competitive salary + yearly bonus + cafeteria

Type of employment: employee

Main tasks:

Establish a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, RA organization that fits the need of the plant, ensuring all team members have the required competence for their role;
Establish and maintain a fully documented and effective QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM meeting ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949 and any other requirements applicable to products designed or manufactured in Hungary;
Ensure that all required product and QMS certifications, registrations and accreditations are achieved and maintained as needed;
Ensure that products are designed, manufactured, controlled and released with adherence to all applicable customer, regulatory and product requirements;
Ensure robust QC processes are in place to examine the quality of raw materials that are used in production as well of in-process outputs and finished products;
Ensure that products are designed and developed timely and effectively according to New Product Development Process, with special focus on Design Transfer to Production;
Ensure robust processes are in place to investigate issues, deviations, and complaints to determine their root causes and establish effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence and resolve customer issues;
Establish a rigorous and effective audit program to detect weaknesses before external audits and prevent failures to happen;
Establish effective monitoring and measuring systems of selected metrics with an operating rhythm in place to drive QMS compliance and effectiveness;
Engage periodically with customers to measure their satisfaction, gather product feedback and then propose countermeasure or improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology or Food/Feed Safety;
At least 5-8 years of relevant experience (QA, RA, QC) at multinational PRODUCTION companies (Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Medical Devices, or Automotive);
Thorough knowledge of QMS, QA practices, GMP and reference quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or IATF 16949) with track record of QMS implementation in complex and regulated environments;
Knowledge of applicable regulations (FDA);
Outstanding communication skills;
Ability to lead and foster teams and work in an international environment;
Excellent leadership skills;
Fluent English and native Hungarian.
