Outsource planner

You will make an impact in the following way: 

Planning of finished product through various international Belden locations and possible external assembly parties, from production, assembly to delivery to the customer.


Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing
  • Creating and entering Purchase Orders in systems for finished products, where applicable in systems.
  • Daily monitoring of regular (Plug & Play) Customer & Purchase and composite orders.
  • Communicating with all stakeholders in case of deviation from orders.
  • Coordinating orders with production in the various plants and making and realising the planning for delivery of finished products to customers.
  • Coordinating composite products with various plants and assembly 3rd parties and processing this in the planning for realisation of finished products.
  • Ensuring external activities such as assembly are realised within the required and set time.
  • Stock control and continuous improvement.
  • Continuously develop and set up the ERP system on finished goods based on demand for minimum stock levels and security
  • of supply.
  • Analyses stock levels of Finished Products and related data in the ERP system, discusses issues and possible improvements with the EU Planning Manager and implements.
  • Involved in the Lean Daily Management process, supports improvement projects and realises improvement projects in own work.
  • Gives advice and input on improvement of departmental processes to the EU Planning Manager and supports implementations.

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in operative purchasing
  • Ambition, Flexibility, Cooperation, Accuracy, Influencing & Networking, Team Player
  • ERP systems knowledge
  • Excel proficiency
  • English language, Dutch and/or German as a plus
  • Experience in remote work with peers
