Responsibilities

Execution of procurement plans to achieve defined quality, delivery, and cost targets
Ensuring material supply in line with production plans
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of procurement documentation
Daily operational communication with suppliers and monitoring their performance
Close cooperation with internal departments (e.g. production, logistics, finance)
Creating and managing purchase orders in enterprise resource planning systems (e.g. SAP, SRM, OA)
Initiating and monitoring purchase order approval processes and managing the full order lifecycle
Monitoring deliveries to ensure goods arrive on time
Requesting, processing, and recording order confirmations in the relevant systems
Supporting the invoicing process
Managing claims and complaints towards suppliers in case of incorrect or faulty deliveries
Preparing reports and data analyses (e.g. monthly supplier KPI reports)
Independently handling minor supplier-related issues and escalating major problems to the Supervisor or Strategic Buyer

Requirements

Higher education degree (preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field)
Proficient English skills, both written and spoken
Knowledge of procurement, supply chain, and logistics processes
Understanding of inventory management principles
Accurate, precise, and structured working style
Proactive personality with strong teamwork skills
High level of reliability and sense of responsibility
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage

Nice-to-have

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Previous experience in an operative purchasing or procurement role
Knowledge of ERP systems (especially SAP, SRM, OA or similar systems)
Experience in supplier performance monitoring and KPI reporting
Understanding of quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety management systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
Experience working in an international or multinational company
Basic understanding of contractual terms and procurement compliance
