Responsibilities

We are inviting you to join Howden, a Chart Industries Company and become a trusted and valued member of our OT HAX Procurement team. The main purpose of the job will be about placing and following up on POs with suppliers located globally, as well as drive cost reduction initiatives and ensure defined Key Performance Indicators, tools, Service Level agreements and SOX compliance requirement fulfil local and global strategy and initiate corrective actions in case of deviations.

In more details, you may expect the following:

  • Monitor and ensure optimised performance in relation to cost, delivery on hardware and software, quality and compliance and initiate corrective actions as required.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and ensure Key Performance Indicators
  • Follow up on missing parts and ensure delivery priority according to customer requirements.
  • Assure on-time delivery in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Invoice controlling
  • Document handling and data maintenance in MRP system


This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday. We offer hybrid working for this role, which will allow you to enjoy the balance of home working and collaboration time with the team in our modern, friendly offices.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years’ experience working with operational procurement, preferable within a project driven industrial/heavy engineering environment.
  • Experience with production planning
  • Willing to travel, 15 days a year
  • Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Flexibility and capacity to work independently and in teams.
  • Profound ability to prioritise and plan according to deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and good at identifying customer needs
  • Fluent English skills as we are a global organization and operate all over the world. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Advanced IT and MS Office skills.
