Lufthansa Technik Budapest is looking for a highly motivated Operational Excellence Project Manager to join our team.
In this international role, you will be based in Budapest and report directly to the Head of Operational Excellence in Hamburg. You will drive strategic transformation projects, support business units across the Lufthansa Technik network, and help shape sustainable operational improvements in collaboration with leaders and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and support international transformation and Operational Excellence projects
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across different business units
Manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams
Advise and coach project managers and business leaders
Develop and promote Operational Excellence methodologies and best practices
Facilitate workshops and deliver OpEx training programs
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive sustainable change
Define and monitor process and performance KPIs
Support strategic initiatives across the Lufthansa Technik network

Requirements

University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or similar
Minimum 3 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, Continuous Improvement or Project Management
Proven experience in leading transformation projects and change initiatives
Strong knowledge of process optimization methodologies, such as DMAIC
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working with and advising senior leaders
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Fluent English written and oral (C1 level)
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%)
