Responsibilities

Design and full-circle creation of high-end 3d scenes
Single asset modeling, texturing, surfacing
Complex interiors and landscape assembly
Lighting and optimization according to the specs of the destination engine
In charge of specific portions of the environment work
Observe references and concept art, discuss with the team, and bring them to life according to art direction and technical specs
Manage time efficiently, report progress regularly to supervisors
Absorb feedback positively to ensure top-level quality and meet deadlines

Requirements

Some previous experience in games, vfx, animation, or archiviz involving realtime engines (Unreal, Unity, Cryengine, or similar) with a focus on world building
Proven ability in at least two CG disciplines (modeling, texturing, layout, shading, matte painting, lookdev, lighting, fx, etc)
Good eye for shape, contrast, color, composition, and knowledge of controlling them in a story-driven fashion
Ability to multitask while switching between multiple software and plug-ins
Eligibility to work in the European Union

Nice-to-have

Concept art and traditional art portfolio (drawing and painting), Some design and architectural culture, and ability to put it in practice under different lore requirements, Understanding of physically based rendering, photography and color spaces, Familiarity with shading/material networks, and ability to approach color-theory numerically, An attitude towards efficiency via proceduralism and streamlineable approaches, with a good sense for when manual is better than automatic
