Responsibilities

Performing microbiological methods, including aseptic work under a safety cabinet, in accordance with test instructions/protocols
Conducting microbiological monitoring in cleanrooms and laboratories, as well as monitoring media such as water and process gases
Monitoring and evaluating the technical monitoring of areas requiring such monitoring, e.g., cleanrooms, storage areas, and equipment
Documenting work steps, results, etc., in accordance with test instructions/protocols and other general GMP requirements
Evaluating results in accordance with specifications or other instructions
Preparing sample shipments and external testing at contract laboratories
Creating and maintaining GMP-compliant QC documents
Assisting with the preparation of trend analyses and contributing to related reports
Ensuring the functionality of equipment, including maintenance, qualification, and repairs
Supporting investigations of microbiological compliance activities and change control procedures
Supporting microbiological management in ensuring effective, safe, and GMP-compliant laboratory operations

Requirements

Apprentenceship as a Technical Assistant (Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant, Biological Technical Assistant, Chemical Technical Assistant, Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant) or a comparable qualification, e.g., through coursework in a natural sciences program
Experience in a GMP environment in a microbiology laboratory or another highly regulated microbiological laboratory setting
Proficiency with standard computer software
High sense of responsibility
Fluent German; sufficient English skills to understand work instructions and testing protocols
Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
High degree of flexibility
