Responsibilities

About the role
We are looking for an AP Accountant to join bp's Global Business Services team in Budapest. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of retail-related costs and invoices for bp's convenience and mobility business, while contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and process high-volume invoices
- Manage vendor accounts and perform reconciliations (GR/IR, document matching)
- Handle supplier and site queries to ensure timely payments
- Support month-end closing and reporting activities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the retail network
- Participate in continuous improvement and automation projects

Requirements

What we're looking for
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Reconciliations / P2P (GL experience is a plus)
- SAP and Excel knowledge
- At least B1/B2 German knowledge (written) and fluent English
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team
- SSC / multinational experience preferred but not mandatory
