Responsibilities

Mechanical engineers research, design, develop, build, and test mechanical and thermal sensors, devices, and engines. They apply principles of engineering, physics, and material science to create solutions for everything that moves, ranging from robotics and automotive parts to power tools and HVAC systems.

Requirements

Design & Analysis: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) and simulation software to create and analyze mechanical systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Prototyping & Testing: Develop and test prototypes of devices, analyzing data to refine designs.
Manufacturing Oversight: Oversee the production process, ensuring designs are manufactured correctly.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Investigate equipment failures, diagnose faulty operations, and recommend solutions.
Project Management: Define project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
