  • You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation
  • Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs
  • Ensuring effective materials planning and execution by managing MRP exceptions, coordinating call-offs and conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services
  • Supporting cycle counts and inventory accuracy
  • Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders
  • Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility
  • Taking appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Procurement and Logistics functions
  • You have at least 2–3 years of experience in material planning/fulfillment or a related area
  • Fluent in English, enabling confident and effective interaction with different stakeholders and smooth collaboration in an international environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, paired with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong ability to work with and navigate complex processes while staying focused and accurate
  • BSc or MSc degree in Economics (preferably Logistics)
  • You have established skills in MS Office tools, especially Excel
  • Valid Hungarian work permit/VISA
  • Possess enhanced knowledge of SAP/Salesforce/SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Any additional language knowledge is a plus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

This role is contributing to the Electrification / Smart Building business line in the South-Eastern European region. Main stakeholders are Commercial Operations Team, Warehouse Team, Italian Regional Distribution Centre, and ABB Factories globally.
