With tailor-made maintenance programs and advanced repair techniques, we ensure the reliability and availability of our customers' aircraft fleets.

Lufthansa Technik's aircraft maintenance base in Budapest is looking for a new Logistics Manager who will lead the local team. Our new management team member will ensure smooth execution, high performance and cost efficiency of local material supply related processes.

Logistics Manager

Task:

  • Managing all logistics processes, all warehouse related activities, internal transport, customs clearance, overseeing local material supply operations, including material handling,
  • Directly manage onsite Supply Chain Management Experts, Custom Specialists, and Warehouse leader, and warehouse employees (total team of ~35). Cooperate with centralised functions, like Local Buyers and Customer Supplied Material Coordinators (they all report directly to central MM team).
  • Managing KPIs, section budget and processes related to the areas in his/her area of responsibility whilst ensuring a compliant output from the team
  • Maintenance of high standards and compliance in the storage area
  • Development of annual stock counting plan and management of cycle counts to meet requirements

Expectation:

  • Min a Bachelor degree, preferably in Economics, Engineering or Logistics
  • 5 years of experience in logistics 
  • 2 years of experience in logistics leadership
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Hungarian languages
  • Good communication skills
  • High stress tolerance and resilience
  • Flexible, committed, solution-oriented, attitude

Other:

  • Knowledge of the aircraft industry
