Master Data Operations Specialist (PE-12499)

Our multinational client is a global provider of advanced catalyst solutions for chemicals industries for which we look for new candidate for an Master Data Operations Specialist position.

The role of a Master Data Operations Specialist involves managing and maintaining the core information necessary for operations and decision-making within an organization. This includes overseeing the entry, update, and quality control of critical data such as customer, vendor, and product data. The Specialist is responsible for implementing and managing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards.

• Create, update, and maintain master data records (customers, vendors, materials, pricing, etc.) in ERP systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and policies.
• Perform regular data audits and cleansing to maintain integrity and consistency.
• Follow established workflows and approval processes for master data changes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Document procedures and maintain updated process guidelines.
• Validate incoming data requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in master data.
• Monitor data quality metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and IT teams to support business operations.
• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on master data processes.
• Act as a point of contact for master data-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Generate reports on master data status, changes, and quality performance.
• Analyze trends and recommend improvements to data governance and processes.
• Support audits and provide documentation as required.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new tools.
• Suggest process enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Stay updated on best practices in data management and governance.

•  Advanced communication level in English (written and verbal)
• Advantage: Other European or Asia Pacific language knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
• SAP experience
• Good team working skills with a customer service mindset
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in Master Data Operations
• College or university degree
