Responsibilities

Ownership of quarterly and year-end compliance activities including SOX controls tied to manufacturing controllership
Review and resolution of complex control, reporting, and compliance issues across regions
Support for auditors and driving remediation and control enhancements
Leadership of complex work related to standard costing, inventory accounting, inventory count procedures, and manufacturing reporting
Partnership with Finance, Operations, and IT to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support major initiatives such as restructuring, footprint optimization, integrations, and divestitures
Serving as a go-to expert for manufacturing controlling and compliance topics
Working closely with business and finance leaders, providing coaching to analysts and senior analysts, and supporting training and knowledge-sharing across the organization
Driving global standardization of controllership processes
Identification of automation opportunities and implementation of scalable improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen compliance, and improve reporting quality

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
MBA or CPA (or local equivalent) preferred
Extensive experience in finance and/or reporting roles
Strong background in manufacturing controlling, inventory accounting, standard costing, and compliance reporting
Solid knowledge of internal controls, SOX, and financial reporting
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
Experience driving process improvement, automation, and standardization
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
