Manager for Material Management

You will be hired as a manager for material management for the 4flow management business line. Your area of work will involve material management activities for 4flow customers. In particular, this will include the following tasks:

• Communicating regularly with central counterparts and plants (customer account management) 

• ​Leading and developing a team of supply chain professionals, esp. material and order managers, to ensure the successful planning and execution of daily operations 

• Ensuring the daily availability of material for production and finished goods  

• Guaranteeing exception management, e.g. in case of material shortages or supply chain disruptions, to the satisfaction of our customers 

• Driving innovations to our customers 

• Monitoring logistics performance and cost reduction opportunities 

• Analyzing network metrics to determine and drive continuous improvement measures 

• Establishing technological advancements in logistics operations to drive efficiency 

• You give us confidence to believe that you’ll contribute to the growth of our company with your personality, skills, knowledge, and experience

• You have gained at least 5 years of experience in material planning and order management and at least 2 years in supervising and developing a team

• You understand MRP processes, demand planning and call-off logic

• You have experience in handling supply shortages, delays, and escalations in a structured way

• You can effectively prioritize and manage multiple operational topics in parallel

• You are a self starter with strong conceptual thinking 

• Your communication skills in English are very good

• You are confident in using ERP systems (e.g. SAP MM / PP) in operational planning environments

• You hold a strong interest in supply chain topics and are motivated to work with international teams in an exciting environment
