Responsibilities
- End-to-end architecture definition for embedded systems
- Architectural design leadership using modern principles
- Key design decision making and trade-off articulation
- Technical guidance in C/C++ development within embedded environments
- Support and guidance in integrating complex subsystems
- Testing strategy definition including test pyramid setup
- Collaboration with stakeholders for architecture alignment
- Mentoring engineers and promoting engineering excellence
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in embedded systems architecture and development
- Advanced proficiency in C/C++ in embedded or real-time environments
- Experience in designing modular architectures (Clean, Onion, or similar patterns)
- Ability to explain and justify architectural decisions with trade-off analysis
- Understanding of testing strategies and test pyramid definition
- Foundation in system-level thinking, performance optimization, and integration challenges
- Excellent communication skills and cross-functional teamwork ability
Nice-to-have
- Experience with camera/imaging systems (ISP, DSP, embedded vision pipelines)
- Exposure to performance-critical or real-time embedded systems
- Experience with complex, multi-component architectures
- Track record of technical leadership including mentoring and leading design discussions
- Familiarity with hardware-software co-design and constraints-driven development
