Responsibilities
- Coordinating and managing the full range of import and export activities of our group of companies
- shipping planning, costing, decision preparation
- scheduling and preparation of shipments
- full supervision of shipping documents and papers
- keeping in touch with our own colleagues, partners, and clients
- liaising with forwarding companies, subcontractors, partner offices
- physical inspection of consignments sent supervision of loading
- receipt and control of incoming shipments, coordination of customs clearance
Requirements
- Higher education
- At least 1 years of experience in international shipping
- Advanced English language skills
- Knowledge of the legal environment and process of international shipping
- Knowledge of import-export documents and administrative requirements
- High degree of work ethic, willingness to act, flexibility and autonomy
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of English in higher level at least B2
- International relations, international thinking
- Experience in the transport of sea freight
- BI system knowledge (e.g., SAP, G1)
