Logistics coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating outbound trucking operations from our airport warehouses in multiple locations to the regional depots of lastmile delivery partners across Europe. You’ll work closely with warehouse teams, carriers, customs brokers to ensure that every shipment departs on time, in full, and with complete documentation.
This is a hands-on operational role that requires strong communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to solve problems before they become bottlenecks.

Outbound Trucking Coordination:
– Plan, schedule, and dispatch outbound trucks from airport warehouses to regional lastmile depots.
– Consolidate cargo based on destination, provider requirements, and service-level agreements.
– Ensure optimal truck utilization while maintaining strict cut-off times.
Operational Control & Monitoring:
– Track cargo movement from warehouse release to depot arrival.
– Monitor real-time performance and proactively address delays, capacity issues, or route disruptions.
– Maintain accurate and timely updates in internal systems and partner platforms.
Stakeholder Communication:
– Serve as the primary point of contact for trucking partners, warehouse teams, and lastmile providers.
– Communicate loading plans, departure schedules, and exceptions clearly and promptly.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customs, Linehaul planning, Warehouse operation) to ensure smooth cargo flow.
Process Improvement:
– Identify inefficiencies in the outbound trucking workflow and propose actionable improvements.
– Support the implementation of new routing strategies, automation tools, and operational standards.
– Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the European network.

– Basic experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, or transportation planning
– Understanding of European transport networks.
– Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple departures simultaneously.
– A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
– Clear and confident communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
