Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring our growing infrastructure; also, collaborating with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will be working in a dynamic environment, gaining experience in a wide range of technologies. The position is based in Zug, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

Ensure high availability of a globally distributed infrastructure
Monitor systems for outage and repair as needed
Maintain and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
Create tools to help other users make the most out of the available infrastructure
Office IT for Mac and Windows users

Skills:

Fluent English required
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and effectively manage own workload
Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Overcome language and cultural barriers
Experience with Linux servers (RedHat based, Debian based)
Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of Linux services
Strong grasp of configuration management tools, such as Ansible
Ability to troubleshoot problems with various Linux distributions
Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
Experience with Physical Server hardware
Experience with Virtualization Platforms - VMware, Proxmox or KVM
Experience with Container Platforms – Kubernetes, Docker, Podman
Experience with FreeIPA, Prometheus, Bareos, Proxmox Backup Server, Loki, Opensearch or Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SIP, RunDeck, and AWX is considered a plus
Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc) is considered a plus
