Legal Counsel

• Provide legal consultancy and business partnering for all business divisions and enabling functions;
• Focus on strategic business topics and foster change management to support operating model implementation;
• Draft, review, and negotiate specific contracts not available in standard offerings;
• Ensure legal monitoring and consultancy for advertising and other materials;
• Provide legal advice on civil law, pharmaceutical law, commercial law, data privacy, and competition law;
• Evaluate and balance legal risks with business needs and processes;
• Keep up to date with relevant developments, identify trends, and mitigate risks;
• Participate in compliance processes and projects, contributing to corporate governance;
• Handle other legal matters as assigned by the Head of Law, Patents, and Compliance Central Eastern Europe;
• Serve as Data Privacy Officer and manage related tasks;
• Act as a trusted legal advisor within the Country Business Partnership model.

WHO YOU ARE: * J.D. degree from a Hungarian law school with 5+ years of legal experience, including expertise in life sciences law;

• Hungarian Bar Exam preferred;
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English language proficiency;
• Solid time management skills, ability to prioritize, plan, and organize a heavy workload;
• Ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams and establish working relationships with clients and colleagues;
• Ability to understand, apply, and explain policies, processes, and procedures;
• Evaluate complex situations and resolve issues with minimal supervision;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member, showing proactivity, collaboration, and a result-oriented risk-based approach.
