Lead Data Engineer (3729)

• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions utilizing GCP services,
• Lead the development of data pipelines and distributed frameworks that ensure scalability, optimal performance, and long-term reliability,
• Create and define data models, patterns, and automation frameworks for modern data ecosystems, including lifecycle management and orchestration,
• Translate business and data analytics needs into strong cloud architectures, working closely with solution architects, data modelers, and cross-functional global teams.
• Ensure the integrity, security, visibility, and compliance of data at every stage of the data pipeline.
• Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices to enable consistent, high-quality delivery of solutions.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, advocate for best practices, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of engineering processes.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in cloud data engineering, big data technologies, serverless computing, and AI/ML platform advancements.

• Extensive experience as a Data Engineer,
• Experience working with cloud technology
  • Knowledge of GCP is an advantage
• Experience working with big data,
• Proficiency working with Python,
• MSc or BSc degree from a relevant field.
• Having previous mentoring, leadership experience is a further advantage.
