About the Role

ISS A/S is one of the world’s leading facility service providers, operating in Hungary with strong and stable partnerships across industrial and automotive sectors.

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Facility Director / Key Account Manager who will take full operational and financial responsibility for one of our key industrial accounts.

Although the position is advertised nationwide, the role requires regular presence at the client’s site in Nyíregyháza, therefore frequent travel within Hungary is expected.

This is a senior leadership role with direct reporting to the Country Manager and close cooperation with regional and global account management teams.

Your Mission

You will act as the primary point of contact for the client and will be responsible for delivering high-quality integrated facility management services, including:

• Technical maintenance
• Cleaning services
• Catering
• Reception services
• Waste management

Your goal will be to ensure operational excellence, financial performance, contractual compliance, and continuous development of the account.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of service supervisors managing large blue-collar teams
• Oversee shift planning, attendance tracking, overtime, holidays, sickness management, and recruitment
• Work closely with HR regarding hiring and workforce planning
• Maintain strong relationships with the client through regular on-site presence
• Travel regularly to client locations as required

Financial & Commercial Responsibility

• Full P&L and budget responsibility for the account
• Monthly reporting of operational and financial performance to Country and Global Management
• Identify gaps between actual and budgeted results and implement corrective actions
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the client site
• Prepare calculations, price offers, and negotiate additional services

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure service quality KPIs are met according to contract
• Manage supplier cooperation and approve purchase orders
• Cooperate with HS&E Manager to ensure full compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Conduct regular audits and inspections

Leadership & Culture

• Conduct performance evaluations
• Build a structured communication and feedback culture
• Ensure alignment with ISS standards, policies, and corporate vision
