Responsibilities
- Management of milk procurement strategy; continuous adaptation of the milk procurement strategy taking into account demand, availability, origin, price, quality and all relevant circumstances and conditions.
- Raw milk cost planning and other estimations: preparation and reporting of budget and all other necessary forecasts at least monthly basis.
- Market research: continuous local and international market monitoring and follow-up
- Milk collection: organizing, managing and supervising the collection and transport of milk
- Supplier management: search, selection, monitoring, evaluation and development of suppliers; constant contact with market participants, contracting
- Inventory management: daily / weekly inventory monitoring, milk demand / excess milk management
- Management of agrosupply projects
- Manage the regulated raw milk samplings per decade
- Monitoring (audits), development of suppliers' production conditions and contributing to solving ad-hoc quality problems
- Checking and monitoring the necessary documentation of suppliers (certificate of exemption 3, specification), as well as preparation for plant audits
- Performing daily, monthly milk accounting and closing tasks
- Issuance of purchase tickets for primary producers
- Checking freight invoices based on freight contracts
- Producer control of daily milk arrival
- Create and follow up EKÁERs for milk deliveries
- SPOT receipt and sale management
- Production of statistics (statutory and ad hoc)
- Knowledge of all kinds of administrative processes and reporting related to milk procurement
Requirements
- Bsc or Msc in animal husbandry is preferred, or agricultural engineer
- English intermediate
- experience working with or at animal farms, or experience in food industry
- proactivity, entrepreneurship, business acumen, hands-on attitude
Preferred area of living
- Szolnok-Tiszafüred-Debrecen triangle

The purpose of this job is to develop a professional with the full scope of raw milk management from strategical planning, negotiation with farmers, development of our farmers’ processes, project management to administration.
