Responsibilities

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code mainly in Python
Delivering great user experience by development of great user interfaces
Handling security and data protection professionally and precisely
Providing technical solutions and implementing new software features collaboratively

Requirements

Studies towards BA or MA degree in computer science and/or a related field
Knowledge of Python or expertise in C++, Java or C#
Knowledge of object-oriented approach and program design patterns
Knowledge of SQL
Good understanding of the ORM (Object Relational Mapper) approach
Experience in using open-source tools
Interest in computer graphics
Ability to deliver on schedule and work calmly and efficiently under pressure
Good working knowledge of written and spoken English
Ability to perform at least 20 work hours per week with flexible work hours

Nice-to-have

Knowledge and experience of SQLAlchemy/Django frameworks, Knowledge of Qt Graphic Framework, Knowledge of Agile software development methods, Knowledge of DVCS tools (Git, Mercurial), Experience in MVC desktop GUI development, Experience in multi-threaded programs development, Experience in cross-platform development (Windows, OSX, Linux), Good working knowledge of written and spoken Hungarian
