Responsibilities

Development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
Writing high-quality, maintainable Python code
Participation in code reviews
Participation in technical discussions for tool selection and architectural decisions
Assistance in troubleshooting data issues and monitoring pipeline performance
Continuous learning of new tools and sharing findings with the team

Requirements

Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on Python
Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with modern data processing frameworks like PySpark or Polars, Pandas
Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals including joins, aggregations, and window functions
Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server
Conceptual understanding of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Knowledge of core languages Python or Scala with focus on clean scripting
Basic concepts of orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher

Nice-to-have

Familiarity with basic concepts of streaming data (Kafka, Kinesis)
Basic exposure to non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Knowledge of modern data formats like Parquet, Avro
