Als Junior Concierge im Mandarin Oriental, Wien bist du Teil des Concierge Teams und für verschiedene Aufgaben verantwortlich. Du berichtest an unseren Head Concierge.

Als Junior Concierge bist du für die folgenden Aufgaben verantwortlich:

• Planung, Organisation und Koordination des Concierge-Desks sowohl im Hotel Mandarin Oriental Vienna als auch in den Mandarin Oriental Vienna Residences.
• Aufrechterhaltung der Gästezufriedenheit auf dem Niveau von Mandarin Oriental.
• Sicherstellung eines herzlichen und reibungslosen Empfangs all unserer Gäste.
• Vermittlung von Wertschätzungg und Ankerkennung unseren Gästen gegenüber, um bleibende positive Erinnerungen zu schaffen.
• Serviceorientiert arbeiten und dabei durdacht sowie mit Liebe zum Detail arbeiten.
• Fähigkeit, alle Funktionen im Front Office gemäß den Anforderungen des Betriebes auszufürhen.
• Präsenz ander Rezeption während Stoßzeiten zur operativen Unterstützung des Teams
• Bereitstellung von „hands-on“ Unterstützung für das Team, einschließlich Check-ins/Check-outs, Bearbeitung von Gästewünschen und anderen Aufgaben.
• Als Botschafter des Hotels aktiv mit Gästen sowie Kollegen interagieren.
• Sicherstellung, dass alle relevanten Standards in Bezug auf Qualität, Nachhaltigkeit sowie FLHSS (Fire Life Health Safety Standards) im Rooms Division-Bereich verstanden und eingehalten werden.
• Einhaltung aller anwendbaren Standards wie LQE (Leading Quality Experience), MOQA (Mandarin Oriental Quality Assurance), SDH (Service Delivery Handbook) sowie kontinuierliche Förderung von Serviceexzellenz.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna within the Concierge Department in Vienna, the Junior Concierge is responsible for various duties. The Junior Concierge reports to the Head Concierge.

As a Junior Concierge, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Planning, organizing, and coordinating the concierge desk, both at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna hotel as well as at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna Residences.
• Maintaining guest satisfaction at the level of Mandarin Oriental.
• Ensuring a warm and smooth reception for all of our guests.
• Conveying appreciation and recognition to our guests to create lasting positive memories.
• Working in a service-oriented manner, thoughtfully and with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform all functions in the Front Office according to operational requirements.
• Being present at the reception during peak times to provide operational support to the team.
• Providing "hands-on" support to the team, including check-ins/check-outs, handling guest requests, and other tasks.
• Actively interacting with guests and colleagues as an ambassador of the hotel.
• Ensuring that all relevant standards regarding quality, sustainability, and FLHSS (Fire Life Health Safety Standards) in the Rooms Division area are understood and adhered to.
• Adhering to all applicable standards such as LQE (Leading Quality Experience), MOQA (Mandarin Oriental Quality Assurance), SDH (Service Delivery Handbook), and continuously promoting service excellence.

• Hohe soziale Kompetenz und Sensibilität für kulturelle Unterschiede.
• Hohe Standards in Bezug auf persönliche Hygiene, Verhalten und Erscheinungsbild.
• Engagement für kontinuierliche Verbesserung und Serviceexzellenz.
• Charismatische Persönlichkeit mit der Fähigkeit, andere zu motivieren und zu inspirieren.
• Fähigkeit zur Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen, um einen nahtlosen Service zu gewährleisten.
• Bereitschaft, „hands-on“ Unterstützung zu leisten und aktiv am Tagesgeschäft teilzunehmen.
• Mindestens 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position im Bereich Gastgewerbe oder Hotellerie, idealerweise in einem Luxushotel.

As a Junior Concierge, we expect from you:

• Extensive knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, events, and services.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and booking software.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry, ideally in a luxury hotel.

The collective minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 2.263,00. There is a willingness to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and work experience.
