About the role
As a Junior Avionics Engineer, you will provide hands-on support in developing advanced avionics platforms. You will work within a dynamic team of eight, bridging the gap between hardware design and embedded software integration.
Work tasks
PCB Layout & Design: Developing, designing, and creating layouts for printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium or KiCad.
Embedded Software Integration: Installing, configuring, and flashing software onto the developed hardware components (embedded systems / C++).
Lab Testing & Troubleshooting: Hands-on commissioning of electronics and systematic fault-finding using standard laboratory measurement instruments.
Hardware Development: Providing active, hands-on support in the physical build, optimization, and backend design of the avionics platforms.
We are looking for
Education: Degree (Bachelor's) in Electrical, IT, or Aerospace Engineering.
Work Experience: First practical experience with hardware; not suitable for purely theoretical graduates.
PCB Design: Practical skills in board layout using Altium or KiCad.
Lab Skills: Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments for hardware troubleshooting.
Languages: Fluent in English.
Nice-to-Haves
Programming: Basic knowledge or experience with C++ for embedded systems.
Languages: Good command of German is a plus.
