Responsibilities
Routes: China ⇄ Europe / Europe ⇄ Central Asia
Company: Datlan
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Work format: Office-based only (no remote, no hybrid)
Employment: Full-time, permanent
Requirements
- Full operational handling of international shipments on routes:
China ⇄ Europe and Europe ⇄ Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) - Organization of multimodal transportation (road, rail, sea)
- Coordination with Chinese agents and European / Central Asian partners
- Route planning and real-time shipment tracking
- Cooperation with railway terminals, ports, warehouses and carriers
- Preparation, verification and control of transport documentation:
CMR, SMGS, T1, EX1, TIR, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List - Communication with customs brokers in the EU and Central Asian countries
- Handling complex and non-standard logistics cases (delays, inspections, route changes, extra costs)
- Cost control, margin monitoring and shipment profitability
- Operating in TMS / CRM systems
- Operational reporting and process optimization
Nice-to-have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics operations
- Proven hands-on experience with routes:
China – Europe – China
Europe – Central Asia - Strong knowledge of container rail transport from China
- Solid understanding of transit routes via Kazakhstan, Russia, Caucasus and Turkey
- Experience with transport and customs documentation:
CMR, SMGS, T1, TIR, EX1, BL - Experience working with forwarders, terminals, trucking companies and agents
- Ability to work independently and manage shipments end-to-end
- Advanced problem-solving and negotiation skills
- English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
- Russian: mandatory
- Hungarian
