Responsibilities

Automatizing and documenting widespread IT operations tasks
Collaborating with the development team proactively
Reading documentation and specification in English
After working hours support of the system
Proactive collaboration in designing infrastructure and estimating, managing and optimising its costs
Learning new technologies selected by the development team before implementation and release
Supporting the development team by creating and managing new environments or services
Creating or restoring data backups
Configuring virtual networks
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for development, testing and live environments
Monitoring infrastructure and service health
Managing system alerts
Automatizing IT operations
Supporting Windows and Linux servers and virtual machines
Providing IT support (1st and/or 2nd level) according to a predefined schedule
Managing up-to-date infrastructure documentation
Investigating root cause of infrastructure issues and taking ownership over fixing them ASAP
Setting up and managing firewalls and other security or scalability improvement solutions
Supporting infrastructure changes of new software or CI/CD pipeline versions and their migrations

Requirements

Windows system administrator certification (MCSE, MCSA, MCSD) or Linux system administrator certification (RHCSA, RHCE)
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in IT operations
Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (Blade, Storage, SAN)
Knowledge of PowerShell programming language
Up-to-date professional knowledge
Proactivity
Good communication skill in Hungarian
Professional English language reading skills for understanding written documentation
Knowledge of monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Nagios, or Syslog)
Experience operating VMWare ESX and vCenter and/or Hyper-V and System Center
Knowledge of data backup procedures (Veeam)
IT network knowledge at design and planning level
Firewall operation support
Fluent written and spoken Hungarian
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
Expert or architect level knowledge of virtualization (VPN, VPS, VM, ...) and Docker containers

Nice-to-have

Microsoft Azure certifications, ITIL exam, Experience with building CI/CD pipelines, Experience with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, IBM cloud, Google Cloud, ...), Experience with Network Storages and Disk Stations, Experience with Elastic or similar log server
