IT SOX Compliance Specialist (9. kerület)

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced IT SOX Compliance Specialist for one of our well-established, international partners operating in the real estate management sector.
In this role, you will take ownership of key elements of the SOX 404 framework, ensuring that IT-related controls are properly designed, effectively operated and fully audit-ready across a global organization. You will work closely with both IT and business stakeholders, contributing to a strong and consistent internal control environment that safeguards financial reporting integrity.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute SOX 404 testing activities across global IT and business processes, with a focus on IT General Controls (e.g., access management, change management, system implementations), automated controls and third-party SOC reports.
- Support annual risk assessments and define the scope and approach for testing activities.
- Evaluate control design and operational effectiveness through walkthroughs, documentation reviews, and follow-up remediation testing.
- Partner with process owners and IT teams to maintain clear, audit-ready documentation.
- Act as a key contact for external auditors during annual SOX audits.
- Identify control gaps, coordinate remediation efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Ideal Background
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SOX compliance, IT audit, or internal controls within a multinational company or consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of SOX 404 requirements, internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), and ITGC testing methodologies.
- Experience reviewing IT environments, information security, system implementations, or related processes.
- Well-developed organizational and project management skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions and seniority levels.
