Responsibilities
Huawei Hungary is growing! As a result, we are looking for an IT Solution Manager to join our well established team in the heart of Budapest. The successful candidate will engage with our customers to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and pain points to then design and propose server, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure solutions.
Please note that this is an on-site position with 5 days in the office!

In this role you will provide:
- Technical Pre-Sales Support
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution walk-throughs.
- Provide solution sizing, architecture diagrams, BOM preparation, and RFP/RFQ responses.
- Solution Architecture & Design
- Assess current IT environments and propose optimized architecture using best practices.
- Work with customer/partners to validate designs and ensure solution accuracy.
- Conduct POCs, pilots, and performance assessments when needed.
- Sales Collaboration
- Partner with the sales team to support opportunity qualification and deal strategy.
- Provide technical expertise during customer meetings and negotiations.
- Assist in developing winning proposals and technical documentation.
- Marketing Support
- Participate in marketing campaigns, webinars, and product promotion activities.
- Provide technical input for marketing materials, solution briefs, and case studies.
- Support events, exhibitions, and customer workshops as a technical expert.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to position solutions and highlight technology value.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key customer or partner stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor on infrastructure technologies and best practices.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance, roadmap discussions, and technology updates.
- Collect customer feedback and channel insights back into product, sales, and solution teams
- Technology Leadership
- Stay current with emerging trends in compute, storage, virtualization, backup, and cloud technologies.
- Maintain vendor certifications and participate in product training.
Requirements
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure pre-sales, solution design, or systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge on Server, Enterprise Storage, and Virtualization solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities — able to explain complex tech clearly.
- Strong customer-facing skills with a consultative mindset.
- With storage solution certificate is preferred (Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, Huawei, Lenovo).
- Native Hungarian and fluent English language skills.
