Responsibilities
- Strategic responsibilities: Support and implementation of a coherent international trade marketing strategy that promotes profitable growth in all markets and ensures that all activities are aligned with edding's long-term goals.
- Operational Responsibilities: Design and execute international promotions and marketing campaigns targeting customers, along with associated sales support materials and oversee the adaptation of marketing initiatives.
- Team Management & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with local teams to guide the execution of trade marketing initiatives, providing strategic direction and support as needed.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as the key contact for subsidiaries and international teams to ensure effective cross‑functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and brand management, fostering alignment and sharing best practices to enhance overall business performance.
- Market Monitoring & Analysis: Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis, in alignment with the Consumer Centricity department, to identify trends that inform strategic decision-making
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with sales and key account teams to support daily operations and align marketing with sales objectives, ensuring strong collaboration between sales and trade marketing to drive cohesive business growth and optimize customer engagement activations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field (master's degree preferred)
- Several years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on trade marketing
- Experience in data analysis and campaign optimization
- Profi ciency in English required; additional languages advantageous
- Strong technical and analytical skills with experience in data analysis and campaign optimization.
- Strong trade‑marketing expertise with deep knowledge of sales channels and market dynamics in the office‑supplies and creative sectors, combined with the ability to adapt global strategies to local markets and lead cross‑channel trademarketing initiatives.
- Profi ciency in CRM systems and data analysis tools to track marketing performance and optimizecampaigns
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders, paired with excellent problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities essential for leading projects.
