Responsibilities

What you will do as Intern in Risk Monitoring (m/f/d)

Develop and enhance Excel- and Python-based analysis tools to evaluate the Risk Management Functions and Risk Culture of our Operating Entities.
Conduct analysis using company specific data and aggregated results.
Prepare presentations for senior management.
Support with automation of business processes using python and Excel.
Support the daily activities and operations in the Insurance Coverage team and participate in other activities contributing to our business objectives.

Requirements

What you bring as Intern in Risk Monitoring (m/f/d)

Currently enrolled in a Masters' degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial or comparable studies.
Proficient in MS Office applications, advanced Excel and VBA user.
Knowledge of programming language Python.
Excellent analytical skills, pragmatic and results-oriented.
Attentiveness to details and ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently with a proactive attitude.
Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.

We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location

Welcome to Allianz Group Risk. We create competitive differentiation by providing best-in-class financial and non-financial risk management for Allianz Group and our Operating Entities worldwide.

We are currently searching for an intern for the Insurance Coverage Team in Group Risk who is interested in financial services and risk management, and eager to learn and grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

In this role you will have the opportunity to drive tasks independently, focusing on developing risk analysis tools to assess the maturity and impact of risk management functions as well as the risk culture within our Operating Entities of the Allianz Group. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an international insurance group in the financial sector and contribute actively to our risk management framework.
