Responsibilities

  • Working on Java applications connecting our clients (web & mobile) and various backend systems.
  • Working as part of a cross-functional agile squad with talented peers from multiple areas (frontend, backend, QA, BA, product) in a multinational environment across regions, with stakeholders from the US & UK.
  • Exercising technical ownership of projects, drive industry best practices.
  • Solving problems and find good solutions.
  • Utilizing advanced AI tooling.
  • Providing and getting support in technical & career growth.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Some experience with frontend technologies either Angular or React.
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to learn & work with new technologies.
  • Willingness to engage in related areas (e.g., DevOps, other teams' codebase) and ship end-to-end solutions.
  • Drive to learn, grow, and "leave things better than you found it".
  • Great teamwork skills.
  • Fluent English
  • Candidate needs to be currently eligible to work in Hungary.

Nice-to-have

  • A REST API expert.
  • A seasoned DevOps professional (CI/CD & automations).
  • Knowledgeable in Financial Markets, Banking, or Wealth Management.
  • An expert with related non-development fields (Product, UX, Business Analytics, Information Mapping, etc.)
  • Experienced in enterprise environments.
