Responsibilities

Coordinate activities of the entire Project engineering team, Technology experts and Project coordinators.
Lead the specification establishment of all new production equipment.
Responsible for robust process design in the new programs.
Standardization of equipment and tool design in the plant.
Formulate concepts concerning the areas of production equipment development.
Layout design to meet volume, effective utilization of floor space and minimize in process inventory.
Ensure the Successful Launches.
Cooperate with other departments of the company in order to contribute to the continuous improvement activities of the plant, ie. Developing products, ideas, proposals for continuous improvement, implementing the necessary changes.
Contributes to the activities aiming at scrap reduction and increasing production efficiency.
Support Customer Audits

Requirements

Engineering background ie. college/university degree in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering
Experience in engineering and manufacturing within a complex international automotive manufacturing environment
Min. 5 years experience in a leadership role
Experience in equipment and tooling purchasing
Broad understanding of program management & multiple engineering disciplines
Ability to develop individuals' skills & behaviours
Budget and resource management skills
Excellent communication & presentation & negotiation skills
ISO TS 16949 knowledge/experience is required
Fluent English and Hungarian
