Responsibilities

Review and process internal purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
Create, maintain and manage purchase orders in the ERP system.
Obtain and compare quotations and conduct operational negotiations with suppliers regarding prices and delivery terms.
Communicate with suppliers to obtain order confirmations, track delivery dates and resolve deviations.
Track deliveries and follow up on delays or discrepancies.
Maintain supplier, pricing and master data in the system.
Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. requesters, accounting, logistics) to ensure smooth purchasing processes.
Support basic analyses and reports (e.g. open purchase orders, on-time delivery performance).

Requirements

Completed commercial education or a comparable qualification.
Initial to several years of experience in operational purchasing, ideally in indirect procurement.
Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
Structured, reliable and independent working style with a strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with a friendly and service-oriented mindset when dealing with internal and external partners.
Basic negotiation skills and a good understanding of costs and processes.
Very good German and good English language skills.
